Precalculus Homework Lab Tutor
Pay: $35–$40/hour
Location: Remote (Zoom-based)
Schedule: Mondays–Thursdays, 3:30 PM–9:00 PM CST
Max Students Per Session: 15
About the Role:
SiSTEM is hiring a Pre-Calculus Bootcamp Instructor to support high school students with real-time, interactive prep in Pre-Calc fundamentals. Sessions are designed to be student-driven but instructor-led, allowing learners to drop in with specific questions while also participating in guided instruction, concept breakdowns, and structured support for quizzes, exams, and major assignments.
Your role is to keep students engaged, clarify complex topics, and support mastery in a small-group, high-accountability setting.
What You’ll Cover:
• Trigonometry: Unit circle, graphs, identities, and inverse trig functions.
• Functions: Polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic.
• Limits and Continuity.
• Algebraic Manipulation and Pre-Calc identities.
• Real-world modeling and test prep strategies.
You’re a Perfect Fit If You:
• Have 2+ years of experience teaching or tutoring Pre-Calculus.
• Can manage a group of up to 15 students in a high-energy online setting.
• Are confident using both inquiry-based and guided instruction strategies.
• Can break down abstract math topics into clear, digestible steps.
• Have experience preparing students for high-stakes assessments or college readiness.
