Teaching & teaching Environment (Instructional)
Teach students according to the competencies required in the SingaporeMaths Curriculum.Prepare classroom area, worksheets and manipulatives for classIdentify students’ needs and address them accordingly.Incorporate the concept of growth mindset in their dealings with the students through language and example.Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and achievement of students in the system on the Teacher’s Planning Guide, Progress Reports etc.Monitor progress of students in terms of their grade levels and their MathsFitness goals.Maintain good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times
Teaching and Teaching Environment (Non Instructional)
Curriculum and instructional development activitiesSupervise studentsUpdate worksheets inventory formsPrepare Individual Work Envelopes of studentsProvide content to the marketing team on the successes and progress of studentsMaintain organization of manipulativesMaintain standardized workspace tools google classrooms, class records,IWPs, etc.Help the RO in preparing for events like Moving Up Ceremony, Christmas programs and other special events
Ensure Parents are informed about the progress of their child
Provide assessment and evaluation of students’ progress and concerns tothe Management.Timely completion of PR’s and monthly text updateCommunicate with the other teachers, managers,
as well as the parents and guardians to ensure the best Interestof studentsConduct parent teacher conferences
