The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and ETL processes, with experience in automating workflows and optimizing data models for performance and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate business-owned Excel reports into scalable Power BI dashboards, preserving logic while improving usability and performanceAnalyze and understand existing reporting logic, calculations, and data structures within Excel files and replicate them using DAX and data modelsWork closely with stakeholders to clarify metrics, definitions, and reporting expectations before implementationDevelop and maintain Power BI datasets and reports that integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, etc.)Design efficient data models with proper relationships, measures, and performance optimization techniquesWrite and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting across data warehouse tablesDemonstrate a strong understanding of data warehouse structures (fact/dimension tables) to ensure accurate reportingBuild, modify, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes, including data cleansing, transformation, and loadingHandle production support tasks such as debugging ETL failures, fixing data issues, and ensuring data consistencyConfigure and manage SQL Server Agent jobs for scheduling ETL pipelines and monitoring job
