Power Platform Architect (Canada - Remote)

Experienced Technical Architect specializing in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and AI-driven solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. Skilled in building intelligent applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and Generative AI, while establishing enterprise architecture, governance, and responsible AI standards. Proven leader in driving innovation, guiding teams, and ensuring high-quality, zero-escalation delivery aligned to business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components. Serve as the Technical Architect and enterprise SME, defining and owning architecture decisions for AI-driven Power Platform solution Demonstrate strong hands-on working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Agent Flows, and AI Builder. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Lead adoption of Generative AI, conversational AI, and intelligent automation aligned to business outcomes. Develop best practices, governance standards, and reusable components to ensure consistency and compliance across the platform. Oversee the implementation and integration of Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft and third-party services (e.g., Dynamics 365, Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server). Mentor and guide development teams throughout the solution lifecycle, providing technical expertise and code reviews. Stay abreast of new features, updates, and trends within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and recommend adoption where appropriate . Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and performance requirements. Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of existing Power Platform applications. Document solution architecture, configurations, and processes according to organizational standards. . Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents , Copilot Studio ). Strong understanding of data modeling, connectors, and integration with Microsoft 365, Azure, and external systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Dataverse, Common Data Service, and security modeling. Demonstrated experience with REST APIs, custom connectors, and automation workflows. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects on time. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or related certifications. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Azure Logic Apps, and other Microsoft cloud services. Background in process automation, business intelligence, or low-code/no-code development environments. Work Environment The Power Platform Architect typically works in a collaborative, agile environment, engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
