Power BI Developer/Remote
The position is Remote. Job Title BI Developer Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 6-8 yrs. Technical/Functional Skills MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS, MS BI Experience Required • 6+ years of work experience in Power BI development with 3+ years of Power BI mobile dashboard experience is mandatory • Solid understanding of key Business Intelligence and Analytics trends. • Strong experience with business intelligence and analytics concepts, platforms, and tools (including advanced capabilities like predictive analytics) • Experience with Visualization techniques, power automate and export features in Power BI. • Strong knowledge on Power BI Service including Premium capacity, Gateways, Row Level Security, Administration. Power BI Rest API/PowerShell knowledge will be plus. • Understanding of how to define and support a data governance framework. • Experience with implementing companywide Business Intelligence and Analytics programs. • Understanding relational database systems • Understanding of agile software development methodologies. • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries. • Ability to translate business requirements Power BI model using Power query / DAX formula. Roles & Responsibilities • Design and build data visualizations, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and KRI reports, etc. in Power BI web and mobile layouts. • Work on Power BI related projects to proactively integrate new technologies for more advanced analytics. • Develop and operationalize a Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform and Solutions to achieve operational excellence and business agility. • Build Power BI model with optimal refresh and query performance. • Provide governance around platform and usage of analytics tools • Partner closely with senior management, key business stakeholders and other groups within IT to maximize the value of the Business Analytics programs. • Work closely with the business on the identification and development of key performance indicators to deliver performance insights and conduct trainings and best practices sharing. • Support the development of data strategies, support the development of a strong data governance framework. • Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals. • Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. • Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. • Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set. • Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries. • Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards. • Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.
