Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI visualizations
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Desktop/Service
• Develop efficient data models (e.g. star schemas), build ETL processes, and integrate data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs, cloud services)
• Optimize report performance, including query tuning, model optimization, data refresh strategies, and incremental load
• Implement data security and governance, including row-level security (RLS) and access controls
• Document solutions: data models, ETL flows, DAX measures, visual designs, and user guides
• Provide support and training to end users; iterate dashboards based on feedback
• Stay up‑to‑date on Power BI updates, tools, and best practices
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
