Power BI Consultant
Job Description:Key Responsibilities Capture requirements and translate them into technical solution documents Develop and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations, ensuring adherence to best practices Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including Enterprise Data Warehouse, SQL Server, SharePoint, and APIs, etc. Knowledge Share ? create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train internal team to ensure sustainability Follow compliance standards around data governance and security (Row-Level Security) Monitor and improve report performance and scalability RequirementsThis is a remote role.Strong Power BI experience. Cannot sponsor or transfer of visa. Required Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 5+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 2 years in an advanced roleAdvanced proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes DirectQuery Performance Tuning ? reducing query latency by optimizing source queries Excellent communication and time management skills Preferred Qualifications bolthires Certified: Data Analyst or similar certifications Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Exposure to advanced analytics and AI integration in Power BI Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely delivery of enhanced BI solutions/Power BI Semantic Model Optimization aligned with business requirements Accuracy and reliability of data presented in dashboards and reporting Fully automated and sustainable final solution that encompasses performance optimization and scalability of reports Documentation and knowledge transfer to internal team members Apply tot his job
