Power BI Analyst - Remote/Melbourne
Power BI Analyst needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client in Melbourne, FL
ā¢ Remote role must be in Melbourne, FL for meetings
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Power BI Analyst who will perform spend classification and categorization, create Power BI dashboards to support Direct & Indirect category management team with insights to support strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports as per business requirements
ā¢ Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation, including querying Snowflake views
ā¢ Standardize data collection and reporting templates
ā¢ Conduct data analysis and present findings in a clear, actionable manner
ā¢ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather & understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights
ā¢ Ensure data integrity and accuracy with thorough validation and testing
ā¢ Support AI use case discoveries and partner with IT-Business Analytics team to implement AI usage to support supply chain.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Proven experience in data analysis, spend classification, and business intelligence
ā¢ Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions to data-related challenges
ā¢ Proficiency in Power BI and SQL
ā¢ Experience with Snowflake and other database management systems
ā¢ Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes
ā¢ Excellent data visualization skills
ā¢ Strong communication and collaboration skills
ā¢ Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications:
ā¢ Technical proficiency in Python, or R is a plus
ā¢ Awareness/familiarity with AI usage
