Required Skills
Minimum of 10 years of strong and relevant experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator, specifically for large scale applications.
Extensive experience with AWS RDS Postgres, including setup, configuration, and management.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, configuration, and administration.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience developing and reviewing complex PL/pgSQL functions, procedures, and other database objects.
Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming.
Familiarity with database security best practices.
Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
