Job Summary As a Portfolio Business Architect at Workwarp, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's strategic direction. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop strategic roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives that drive growth and transformation. Key Responsibilities Develop Strategic Roadmaps: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand the company's strategic vision and translate it into actionable roadmaps that drive business growth and transformation. Governance and Prioritization: Participate in the execution of the portfolio governance process to assess IT solutions and prioritize them for executive management. Architectural Excellence: Collaborate with the Business and IT architecture community to apply architectural principles and translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate complex solutions to all levels of stakeholders, including executive management, and facilitate collaboration across teams. SAFe Portfolio Kanban: Support the SAFe Portfolio Kanban process by breaking down portfolio epics into smaller, consumable work bundles for value streams. Value Stream Alignment: Actively collaborate with Value Stream Business Architects to elaborate value stream backlog bundles of work and synchronize execution with the strategic roadmap. Strategic Direction: Assess and document the impact of changing strategic direction on established and planned roadmaps. Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the growth of understanding and knowledge of Business Architecture practices, processes, and tools throughout the organization. Essential Qualifications Education A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, IT systems, or a related discipline is required. Experience A minimum of 7 years of experience in an analytical role with larger projects with value stream or organization-wide impact is required. Skills and Competencies Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop abstract reasoning and problem-solving skills. Systems Knowledge: Strong breadth and depth of cross-functional business knowledge and understanding of IT systems. Influential Leadership: Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex solutions effectively. SAFe and Agile: Previous experience working in SAFe and Agile environments is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Business Architecture: Experience with Business Architecture practices, processes, and tools. IT Systems: In-depth knowledge of IT systems and technology trends. Leadership: Experience in leading teams or projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
