Polyurethane Business & Technical Manager 【Full Remote】
A global chemical company is seeking a Technical & Production Manager to lead polyurethane business growth and operational performance across North America.
This is a high-impact role responsible for driving technical service, manufacturing coordination, supply chain management, marketing strategy, and revenue performance within the polyurethane portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the technical lead for polyurethane systems, supporting formulation development, lab/plant trials, and customer troubleshooting
• Collaborate with global R&D to tailor products for automotive and other key applications
• Oversee toll manufacturing, raw material sourcing, supply planning, and regulatory compliance
• Drive new business development through market analysis, customer engagement, and industry representation
• Manage revenue, pricing strategy, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives
• Develop and execute mid-term strategic plans and annual budgets aligned with corporate objectives
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in polyurethane system formulation
• 5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in the polymer, plastics, or chemical industry
• Experience working with automotive industry customers preferred
• Strong background in technical service and customer-facing roles
• Experience managing toll manufacturing and supply chain coordination
• Demonstrated success in business growth and profitability management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
