PMAM Summer Intern
Job Description:Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of members of Penn Mutual Asset Management (PMAM), the summer intern will work on a variety of assignments across trading operations, financial and fund management, technology, content development and communications, and fixed income, derivative, and alternative asset classes. This role provides broad exposure to how an asset management firm operates as a business. The position is responsible for providing analytical, project and administrative support across PMAM and offers hands-on experience with both investment and operations functions.Why This RoleThis internship is designed to provide a holistic view of asset management by exposing interns to multiple teams and disciplines that support investment strategies, client outcomes and firm operations.What You’ll LearnHow investment teams partner with operations, technology, data and business functionsPractical experience with financial analysis, data, reporting and projectsHow cross-functional collaboration supports investment decision-makingPrincipal ResponsibilitiesSupporting PMAM operations and investment professionals with day-to-day administrative, analytical and project-related workConducting statistical, financial, economic and investment researchAssisting with data analysis, reporting and special projects across asset classesParticipating in projects supporting operational and investment decision-making processesAssisting with the review and documentation of procedures and programsCollaborating with team members across PMAMDemonstrating a commitment to AI fluency by leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-makingRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong academic performance (GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred)Demonstrated interest in asset management and financial marketsInvestment coursework, investment club participation and/or prior internships preferredExcellent analytical, communication and writing skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)High standards of ethics, integrity and professionalismEducationCurrently working toward a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related fieldSalary Range - $23-$25 an hourFor over 175 years, Penn Mutual has empowered individuals, families and businesses on the journey to achieve their financial goals.
