Description
Job Description: The Plumbing Inside Sales position aims to boost sales and customer satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous assistance to returning customers, walk-ins, handling warehousing duties, and ensuring the acquisition of necessary products.
Job Duties:
ā¢ Service customers at the counter by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately; give priority to regular accounts.
ā¢ Use electronic and published catalogs to provide product, pricing and availability information to customers.
ā¢ Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items as well as new products
ā¢ Handle customer complaints and returns, while showing a positive attitude
ā¢ Work with other departments to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner
ā¢ Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery and pickup.
ā¢ Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through audits.
ā¢ Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person.
ā¢ Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customer to coordinate deliveries/ pick-up.
ā¢ Attend product knowledge meetings as required by management.
ā¢ Present a neat and professional image.
ā¢ Keep merchandising and counter areas clean and attractive
ā¢ Keep counter area inventory stocked; remove or add inventory items to stimulate impulse sales; remove discontinued items from the sales floor
ā¢ Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts
ā¢ Assist in keeping facility secure.
ā¢ Follow company policies and procedures.
