Platform Engineer (Mid or Senior)
About the position Responsibilities • Implement and maintain the configuration management operating platform including Microsoft SCCM and Mobile Device Management. • Test, configure, install, and maintain application software and system management tools. • Develop automation solutions to improve workflow efficiency. • Perform remote analyses on system problems or performance trends. • Attend Change Control, Root Cause Analysis, and Operational meetings as needed. • Support end-user issues with complex mobile device enrollment and operations issues. • Provide remote support to customers internally and externally. • Analyze, log, track, and resolve complex software/hardware issues. • Assist in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of systems resources. • Provide on-call support for the configuration management and mobile device management operating platforms. Requirements • H.S. Diploma/GED is required. • 5+ years of Information Technology experience (Bachelor's degree may substitute for some years of experience). • 2+ years of experience working as an administrator of highly available computing systems. • Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem-solve complex technical issues. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Nice-to-haves • Experience in enterprise architecture efforts in hardware, network, or software infrastructure domains. • Ability to lead and direct teams effectively. • Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques.
