To execute HARMANâs strategy, we must examine what we are doing today and what needs to change in organization design, processes, and systems so we can support the growing needs of the business.The Capability Centre Plant Team Leader/Plant office Leader is responsible for delivering efficient, compliant, and technology-enabled support at the manufacturing or engineering site. The role ensures seamless execution of people processes across the employee lifecycle while leveraging digital HR platforms, AI-enabled service delivery, and employee self-service capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.You will oversee CC Plant People Advisors who manage simple to complex policy queries and drive a technology-enabled people service delivery model, using Workday as the system of record and ServiceNow for case management. A core focus is enhancing service delivery through AI-driven solutions and automation.The role partners with Plant Business Leadership, People Business Partners, People COEâs and the wider Capability Centre of the region.Your TeamYou will report to the Regional People Capability Centre Hub Leader and play a key role in the operational management of the Plant Site/Plant Office function within the designated region. As Plant Site/Plant Office Leader, you will manage and oversee a team of CC People Plant Advisors responsible for resolving employee lifecycle and policy-related queries across multiple countries, ensuring consistent, accurate, and high-quality People leader support.What You Will DoLead day-to-day Plantârelated people operational activities supporting the employee lifecycle including DL DVO employees onboarding, internal movements, promotions, and separations, local incentive plans.Drive and manage employee inquiries through ServiceNow (SNOW) case management platform, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to defined SLAâs.Drive process standardization across plant people services to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.Promote adoption of AI-driven People service delivery models including chatbots, virtual assistants, and automated workflows by driving employee self-service and manager self-service.Identify opportunities to reduce manual interventions by leveraging automation, AI-enabled knowledge bases, and intelligent ticket routing within SNOW.Partner with People technology teams to continuously improve digital people tools and user experience.Coordinate DLDVO employees onboarding programs for new employees including shopfloor, engineering, and plant support staff.Manage employee documentation, internal transfers, promotions, benefits, fringe allowances and workforce changes.Ensure seamless offboarding processes including system updates and compliance documentation.Manage plant workforce administration including time and attendance tracking, shift schedules, leave management, and overtime coordination.Provide payroll inputs related to shift allowances, overtime, and statutory deductions.Maintain accurate employee records and documentation aligned with internal controls and audit requirements.Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries and workplace concerns.Support employee relations matters in collaboration with Strategic People Business Partners and plant business leadership.Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company people policies.Maintain documentation required for labour inspections, internal audits, regulatory and client audits.Ensure accurate recordâkeeping and audit readiness across people processes.Track key people operational metrics such as headcount, absenteeism, attrition, and case resolution metrics.What You NeedStrong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, policy interpretation, query resolution, request management, GDPR or equivalent data protection policies, statutory and compliance policies, labour laws, ISO audits, regionâspecific audits, and union laws.Handsâon experience working with HRIS systems such as Workday and ServiceNow, including exposure to AI/Chatbotâenabled support.Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field.7â8 years of progressive experience in HR operations or shared services, with direct experience supporting multiâcountry Tier 1 or HR service delivery.Experience collaborating with union employees and union offices/work councils.Ability to drive process improvements and implement automation to enhance efficiency and employee experience.Strong operational excellence mindset with the ability to manage SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and service outcomes.Ability to apply best practices, benchmarking, and continuous improvement methodologies to strengthen Plant people service delivery.Proven leadership skills in coaching, developing, and guiding highâperforming people support teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.Excellent communication skillsâconfident, articulate, and able to convey information effectively across diverse audiences.Experience engaging with senior stakeholders on escalations, service insights, and process recommendations.What is Nice to HaveExperience in managing plant people operations contractors, vendor managementExperience collaborating with plant business leaders and union staffContinuous Improvement certifications such as Six Sigma or LEAN Operational ExcellenceWhat Makes You EligibleBe willing to travel up to 20% international travel.Work in our EMEA Hub office.What We Offer Flexible work environment, allowing for full-time remote work globally for positions that can be performed outside a HARMAN or customer locationAccess to employee discounts on world-class Harman and Samsung products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, etc.)Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN UniversityCompetitive wellness benefitsTuition ReimbursementAccess to HARMAN Campus Fitness Center and CafeteriaAn inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development#LI-KK1#LI-HybridHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
