Our Home is one of the fastest growing Better For You food brands in the country and this explosive growth requires great people with a passion for better-for-you snacks.We are looking for a detail-oriented Plant Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The Plant Accountantâs responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, work order review & analysis, maintaining the general ledger, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. ResponsibilitiesAccountancy for two of our manufacturing locationsDaily and weekly tasks: not limited to Inventory analysis, preparation and posting of journal entries, labor analysis, attendance in Plant meetingsCompiling monthly financial reports and presenting them to managementPrepare balance sheet reconciliations Analyze profit margins and manufacturing costsCost variance/work order analysisReview results of cycle and physical inventory countsContribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and proceduresPreparation of Ad-hoc reporting as requested by Plant ManagementProvide cross functional and interdepartmental support Assist in training new accounting team membersParticipating in annual Inventory AuditOther duties as assignedRequirementsDetail-oriented; proficiency for accuracy; dependable; positive attitude; team playerStrong MS Office experience and proficiency with creating, developing and using spreadsheets and/or databasesBachelorâs degree in accounting or business, or equivalent school/work experienceMinimum of 5 yearsâ manufacturing accounting experience requiredUnderstanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is requiredAbove-average communication skills: both written and verbalMust be able to present financial results in a clear, concise, & consistent manner Ability to prioritize, take ownership of assigned tasks and/or projects, & manage multiple requestsNetSuite or other ERP experience requiredExperience with mid-sized, privately owned company a plusAbility to identify improvement areas and drive automation in processesPrior experience managing accounting activities for multiple sitesTravel up to 20%BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)401k Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Parental LeaveShort Term & Long Term DisabilityNo recruiters, please
