Plaintiff-Side Consumer Litigation Associate - CA (Remote/Office-Based)
We have been retained by an established plaintiff-side law firm that seeks to hire a well-credentialed midlevel or senior attorney with solid discovery-related experience and complex litigation experience to work remotely or from its offices in the Bay Area (California). Admission to the California bar is not required because cases are federal, and attorneys can get admitted pro hac vice. The position will focus on discovery, including taking and defending depositions, leading meet-and-confers, preparing document requests and responses, drafting motions to compel, writing discovery-related letters, and other aspects of discovery. The firm works on a broad mix of consumer-related litigation matters. Base salary is likely $200,000 to 220,000, and the bonus would likely be about $10,000 to $40,000 or possibly more. The firm offers an excellent benefits package. Attrition levels at the firm are extremely low, and morale is high. We have placed four attorneys there.
