Piping Revit Designer
As a Piping Designer will design detailed engineering drawings for various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients. Perform a variety of assignments using prescribed methods and standard techniques including drawing sequence and presentation, incorporating various system components, and refining rough sketches.
Ā Plan and develop drawings in Revit for production work including problem analysis, design layout on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
Ā Execute variety of piping design assignments using prescribed methods and standard techniques including drawing sequence and presentation, and refining rough sketches.
Ā Execute changes to designs or sketches and redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects.
Ā Analyze reports, drawings, and tests to plan and design projects.
Ā Interpret and incorporate design codes and specifications related to design requirements.
Ā Perform projects tasks and assignments within budgeted hours and deadlines.
Ā Responsible for the revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information are stored in a logical and well-structured manner.
Requirements:
Ā 2+ years of experience designing in Revit required to prepare engineering drawings.
Ā Experience in MEP and/or Process Piping Design / modeling in 3D preferred
Ā Understanding of design in AutoCAD with the ability to learn new design software programs.
Ā Experience in Dynamo is a plus
Ā Advanced knowledge in design and design of systems.
Ā Experience working in an industrial or chemical industry is a plus
Ā Experience with HVAC, utility air, building utility or plumbing for large facilities is a plus
Ā Semiconductor exp would be a bonus
Ā Ability to work collaboratively with others including Project Managers, Engineers and Designers in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.
Ā Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
