Physician Services QA Representative - Remote

JOB SUMMARYThe primary purpose of this position is to support the Cash Applications and Charge Entry Departments’ quality control program. It is the intent of Conifer-Physician Services to evaluate all employees on a consistent basis, new hire and tenured, to ensure superior performance for our clients through effective credit balance resolution, payment posting and charge entry. Additionally, the program is designed to identify any potential staff coaching/training opportunities to inspire learning development.The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for evaluating individual employee performance by auditing invoices/accounts worked, using a variety of tools and applications to associate scores and outcomes. This individual must possess the skills to effectively interact with all staff and leadership with an objective discourse and must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality and meeting compliance guidelines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Others may be assigned.Completes audits for representatives through sampling invoices/accounts worked on a consistent basis, per the policies and procedures of the client and/or departmentDocuments audit results concisely in an excel spreadsheet, including quality score and any coaching opportunitiesCommunicates audit results with leadership in a constructive mannerCompiles weekly and monthly summary reports and shares trends with leadershipProvides input surrounding policies/procedures and training documentation, including new policies or modifications to existing policies for the client and/or departmentParticipates in staff training when neededParticipates in calibration sessions as neededFacilitates dispute process between employees and leadershipOther duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
