Position Summary We’re seeking a Full-Time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic therapy team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver personalized, hands-on care that promotes recovery, mobility, and functional independence for patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and balance Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist Monitor, document, and report patient progress and condition changes in a timely manner Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility strategies, and safety techniques Prepare and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment Assist patients with transfers and mobility training during therapy sessions Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with company and regulatory standards Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (required) Bachelor’s degree (preferred) Active Kansas PTA license through the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) (required) Minimum 1 year of PTA experience (required); 2+ years and home health experience preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills Dependable, self-motivated, and compassionate Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Schedule Full Time Flexible Schedule Benefits Flexible scheduling and manageable caseloads Supportive, team-focused work culture Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Meaningful work that makes a difference in patients’ daily lives Work Location In the field (home health visits throughout Topeka Kansas) How to Apply Join a team that helps others thrive — and grow your career while doing it!
