Job Summary:RWJBarnabas Health is actively seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team in Newark, NJ. As a key part of our rehabilitation services, you’ll provide expert therapeutic care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them regain strength and mobility.
Job Description:As a Physical Therapist, you’ll assess patient conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. You’ll contribute to quality care delivery through evidence-based practices while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current NJ Physical Therapy License or eligible for licensure
BLS certification required
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Experience in an acute, subacute, or outpatient setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
Deliver effective physical therapy interventions to restore function and mobility
Monitor progress and modify treatment as needed
Educate patients and families on at-home therapy and injury prevention
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals
Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education
