Duties and Responsibilities • Develop, test, and maintain cutting-edge web applications using PHP and other relevant technologies (MySQL/Postgre SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver technical solutions. • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. • Follow industry best practices in web development and software engineering. • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and project outcomes. • Ability to “think product”, and make common-sense, product-related decisions. • Execute a project end-to-end, from requirements to production-ready. Qualifications • 2+ years of proven experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar role. • Experience working with and managing cloud services and cloud resources & domains. • Experience working with Ubuntu/Unix CLI and Apache or Nginx. • Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, etc.). • Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX. • Experience with MySQL and Postgre SQL databases and writing complex SQL queries. • Knowledge and willingness to learn about No SQL databases such as Mongo DB. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
