In this role, you’ll bridge clinical operations and artificial intelligence - helping train and refine models that enhance pharmacy efficiency, accuracy, and patient outcomes. Collaborate with pharmacists, data experts, and engineers to ensure AI systems truly understand the complexities of specialty pharmacy, from benefit verification to payer requirements. What You’ll Do • Annotate and structure healthcare data: classify workflows, claims notes, and documentation for AI model training • Collaborate with AI engineers: provide real-world pharmacy insights to improve model performance • Conduct QA reviews of AI-generated outputs for accuracy and compliance • Contribute to SOPs, data schemas, and evaluation metrics that reflect authentic pharmacy operations Ideal Backgrounds • Pharmacy Technicians with 2+ years in Specialty Pharmacy or PBM settings • Experts in Prior Authorizations, insurance verification, and benefits investigations • Professionals familiar with payer systems, formulary checks, and specialty drug workflows • Detail-oriented individuals who excel with structured data tools (Excel, EHRs, CRMs) Qualifications • Solid understanding of specialty pharmacy operations and payer processes • Strong attention to documentation accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) • CPhT certification preferred • Bonus: experience collaborating with data or engineering teams Details • Pay: $28–$35/hour • Hours: 20–30 per week (flexible schedule) • Remote, independent contractor role under Mercor • Weekly payments via Stripe Connect Join a mission-driven project shaping the future of pharmacy operations through AI and help build smarter, safer systems that make healthcare work better for everyone.
