Pharmacy Technician-Appeals

About the position We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Appeals department. In this role, you will work primarily with Medicare patients, handling denied Prior Authorizations. You will review provided information, reach out for additional details if necessary, and then send the case to Pharmacists for a final determination. This position involves making approximately 60 outbound calls per shift to Medicare/elderly members who are often frustrated due to medication denials, mostly for injectable medications administered in a doctor's office.
