Remote Pharmacy Outreach Specialist (Temporary $20/hr)

Are you experienced in patient outreach and enjoy helping people stay on track with their care? We are hiring Remote Pharmacy Outreach Specialists for a temporary assignment from late April through October. This role is fully remote—including training—and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health outcomes.

Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Shifts 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 10 AM - 7:00 PM ET (may include evenings or occasional Saturdays)
Assignment Length: Late April through October (temporary)

What You’ll Do
• Make high-volume outbound and inbound calls to support medication adherence
• Help patients stay on track with prescriptions and prevent gaps in care
• Identify barriers such as cost, transportation, side effects, or understanding of medication
• Provide education and support while guiding patients toward refill commitment
• Coordinate solutions including refills, reminders, and care support
• Escalate clinical questions or concerns to a pharmacist when needed
• Accurately document all interactions in CRM and call systems
• Follow structured call scripts and workflows
• Meet daily performance metrics including productivity, quality, and call handling time

What We’re Looking For
• Experience with patient outreach in healthcare or pharmacy settings (required)
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, metrics-driven call environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence patient behavior
• Ability to handle objections and uncover root causes of non-adherence
• Detail-oriented with accurate and timely documentation skills
• Ability to multitask across systems while actively engaging with patients

Qualifications
• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred

-Required - At least 1 year of experience in a call center in healthcare, or pharmacy outreach role
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and able to learn new systems quickly
