Pharmacy Billing Representative - Hybrid Remote Opportunity in Monroeville, PA

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Billing Representative to join our team in Monroeville, PA. As a Pharmacy Billing Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate billing practices, while providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and stakeholders.
As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a flexible, hybrid remote work arrangement, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM EST, and a flexible start time after training. You will also receive competitive compensation, with a pay range of $17.00 - $28.46 per hour, and eligibility for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Qualifying, preparing, and submitting claims to Copay Assistance programs
Working with pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third-party payers, patients, and claim processors to resolve billing issues
Following processes to assist with processing, insurance verification, authorization, revenue cycle management, compliance, and documentation
Providing exceptional customer service and issue resolution to patients and stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or a related field
Customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to live within a 1-hour commute of the Monroeville, PA office
Preferred qualifications include:
Ability to prioritize daily tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare reimbursement systems
Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification
