About the position
The position involves maintaining and ensuring complete and appropriate drug therapy in a multidisciplinary pharmaceutical care environment. Responsibilities
Ā Evaluates all physician orders based on a clinical assessment of the patient.

Ā Assures the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications including sterile products and investigational drugs.

Ā Manages drug therapy to optimize patient outcomes.

Ā Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education.

Ā Manages the operations of the pharmacy in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Ā Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication styles.
Requirements
Ā Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field required.

Ā Current Pharmacy license in the state of practice required.

Ā Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ā Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.

Ā Skills necessary to compound pharmaceuticals and operate technical equipment.
