OverviewOur client, a major PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Services) entity owned by 20 non-profit health plans serving >33 million members and benefits manager of government programs including Medicare and Medicaid, seeks an accomplished Pharmacist.Job Title: Certified PharmacistLocation: 100% RemoteDuration: 6 months contract w/ possibility of extension or conversion to FTE role (depending upon performance)Pay Rate: $50/hr – $55/hr (W2)Schedule:• 5 days per week, coverage required Monday through Sunday• Shift times vary between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM• Training: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4 weeks; camera required)Must-Have Requirements:• Current and valid Pharmacist License (in good standing)• PharmD or RPh certification• Strong clinical pharmacy and drug product knowledge• Experience with prior authorization processesJob Description:Performs prospective and/or retrospective drug utilization review and appeals per State and Federal regulations.Participates in the distribution of clinical drug information and educates providers and staff regarding the use of pharmaceutical treatment regimens. Complies with all corporate and facility standard operating procedures, policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
