Job Overview:

We are an India-based pharmaceutical manufacturer exploring international expansion and seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Market Research Consultant to help us understand global demand trends for pharmaceutical products.

The goal of this project is to identify **high-demand drug categories, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and potential distribution channels** in international markets. The insights from this research will help guide our product and export strategy.

We are particularly interested in understanding **which pharmaceutical products distributors, hospitals, and importers are actively sourcing in global markets**, especially in regions such as the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

Scope of Work:

The consultant will assist with:

• Conducting market research to identify pharmaceutical products currently in high demand

• Identifying drug categories with supply shortages or strong import demand

• Researching active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) with growing global demand

• Identifying pharmaceutical distributors, wholesalers, or importers in key regions

• Providing insights into distribution channels and procurement practices

• Highlighting regulatory or market entry considerations for selected regions

• Delivering a structured report summarizing findings and recommendations

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution networks and supply chains

• Experience with international pharmaceutical markets

• Strong market research and analytical skills

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks and import requirements

• Prior experience working with pharmaceutical distributors, hospitals, or procurement teams is highly preferred
