Personal Support Worker - Pediatric Home Care

As a Personal Support Worker with WeeCare, you will do more than deliver care according to a care plan. You will provide reassurance, comfort, and consistency, becoming a trusted and valued extension of the client and family. Position Part-Time Personal Support Worker in Toronto, ON Monday-Friday 07:00-09:00. General Duties (specific duties may vary based on individual client needs) Maintain child's records and required documentation Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living Observe and report on changes in child's condition to guardian and WeeCare Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian Respond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents Complete all other tasks as assigned Requirements Graduate of a certified Personal Support Worker program Experience working with pediatrics Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 6 months Schedule Monday-Friday, 07:00-09:00 Morning shift 2 hour shift Ability to Commute Toronto, ON M5M 1M3 Employee Benefits Competitive rates of pay Comprehensive health and dental benefit plans Recognition program Flexible scheduling Comprehensive training program Supportive management team Please visit our careers page to see more job opportunities.
