Performance Architect (Remote)
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Architect (Systems Performance Engineer OR Principal Performance Engineer) to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in performance testing and optimization, with a focus on communication, collaboration, and delivering business value to the C-Suite.

ā¢ Ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including business teams, developers, managers, and vendors.
ā¢ Proficiency in discussing performance engineering value to the C-Suite and delivering business value.
ā¢ Ability to create and deliver performance assessments.
ā¢ Proficient in developing and implementing enterprise performance engineering strategies.
ā¢ Minimum of 15 years of experience in performance testing, with a proven track record of leading performance testing initiatives.
ā¢ Skilled in performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad, WebLOAD, or similar.
ā¢ Experience in end-to-end Performance Testing Analysis, Monitoring, Alerting, and System Optimization.
ā¢ In-depth knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.
ā¢ Strong understanding of software architecture and system design, including cloud, hosted, and on-prem environments.
ā¢ Proficiency in performance monitoring and profiling tools.
ā¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
ā¢ Experience optimizing cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
ā¢ Ability to deliver services in an agile fashion.
ā¢ Proficient in teaching performance engineering best practices to various business areas, including developers, QA, SRE, Release, and performance practice.
ā¢ Curiosity in continuous learning and teachability.
Desirable Attributes:
ā¢ Relevant certifications in performance testing or system optimization are desirable.
ā¢ Skills in simulation modeling and AI.
ā¢ Ability to instrument code.
ā¢ Awareness of emerging technologies and trends impacting system performance.
