Responsibilities Provide expert legal counsel across various practice areas, including landlord-tenant law, real estate law and litigation. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, memoranda, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage all phases of litigation from initial filings through discovery, negotiations, and trial preparation. Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining client interests and fostering positive relationships with opposing counsel. Advise clients on compliance issues related to federal and state laws; interpret statutes and regulations to ensure adherence. Maintain organized case files and record all case activities accurately within the law office management system. Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases requiring interdisciplinary expertise; participate in team meetings to strategize case approaches. Stay current with evolving legal standards and industry best practices through continuous research and professional development. Skills Proven experience in landlord-tenant law, family law and real estate law. Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear drafting of legal documents and persuasive advocacy. Effective negotiation abilities to reach favorable outcomes for clients while managing opposing parties professionally. Solid understanding of legal administrative processes within a law office environment. Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously with attention to detail. Experience in legal drafting that ensures accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Familiarity with federal and state regulations pertinent to the diverse practice areas listed above.
