PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant (Open for C2C)
Position: PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Note: Prior experience working with California State University (CSU) is required.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant to support configuration, data migration, testing, and implementation activities. The ideal candidate should have strong Higher Education experience and prior ERP migration exposure, preferably from Oracle eBusiness Suite to PeopleSoft.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Functional Analysis & Design
• Gather business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis
• Translate business needs into PeopleSoft Finance solutions
• Ensure configurations follow Finance standards and best practices
2. PeopleSoft Finance Configuration
• Configure and support core modules:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Management (AM)
• Billing
• Commitment Control (KK)
• Support Chartfields, budget setup, and combination edits
3. Data Conversion & Integration
• Support data migration from Oracle eBusiness Suite to PeopleSoft
• Validate data mapping and reconciliation
• Work with technical teams on reports and interfaces
4. Testing & Deployment
• Prepare and execute test cases (Unit, SIT, UAT)
• Support user testing and resolve defects
• Assist with go-live and post-production support
5. Training & Change Management
• Create training materials and user documentation
• Support user adoption and knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of PeopleSoft Finance Functional experience
• Experience working in Higher Education
• Strong knowledge of Higher Ed financial processes
• Experience with ERP migrations (Oracle eBiz preferred)
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Higher Ed Finance implementation experience
• Experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2
• Strong understanding of Chart of Accounts and budget controls
• Good communication and documentation skills
