Join our team of 170+ talented individuals and be part of our journey to empower photographers like never before!The Role Your missionGotPhoto is seeking an enthusiastic People Operations Manager to join our People & Culture team in Berlin (working from our office at least twice a week) to ensure our People Operations run smoothly and employees receive timely, compliant support.As we grow and expand, we recognize the need for a dedicated People Operations Manager to join our team and help us scale our processes with operational excellence. This role will act as the main point of contact for People Ops topics in Europe, providing accurate payroll, documentation, and employee support throughout the employee lifecycle. ResponsibilitiesManaging our People Operations in Europe (Germany + Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal) with your colleague MailinManaging payroll and benefits in Europe in collaboration with our external payroll providerOwning and updating employee data and files, including contracts, certifications, and work permitsManaging the onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes for employees across Germany, Spain, Portugal, and the NetherlandsMaintaining and improving our HRIS (Personio), ensuring accurate data and efficient reportingOwning of health & safety tasks in Europe and supporting ongoing compliance topicsWe are looking for:3–5 years of experience in People Operations, ideally in start-ups or international environmentsProfessional understanding of German labor, tax, and social security law. - European legal understanding is a plus!Proficiency with HRIS tools (preferably Personio) and strong process management skillsTech savviness - it's easy for you to come up with creative solutions to use our internal applications (Personio, Probiono, etc.) to automate and digitalize certain tasksFluency in German (C1+) and strong English communication skills The PerksWe work in a flexible hybrid model at GotPhoto, leveraging the best of both worlds, with our office at Hausvogteiplatz serving as our central hub for collaboration in BerlinEducation budget, that allows you to grow professionally and explore new ideasUnlimited holidays (26 days is the minimum)Workation in a different country for up to 2 months per yearWant to learn another language?
