The Payroll Supervisor EMEA is responsible for providing an excellent payroll service, oversee and perform the timely and accurate processing of multiple payrolls in compliance with internal processes. The Payroll Supervisor acts as liaison to internal departments to provide guidance, build working relationships, and resolve escalated issues.

This position is part of the Payroll team and will be located remotely in the Netherlands, in Spain or in the UK. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Process monthly administration and EMEA payroll for direct and indirect employees in partnership with in-country providers.
• Ensure all legally required local taxes, Social Security contributions, and other deductions such as contributions to benefit are correctly withheld from individual paychecks.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the payroll department. Monitor compliance with approved policies and procedures. Contribution to the development of payroll related policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting on all payroll related feeds to finance. Performing and overseeing accurate, correct, and timely payroll reconciliations and audits, and troubleshooting any arising issues. Ensure internal controls are in place and compliance.
• Provide information on systems and processes, and guidance on issues as appropriate.
• Provide support and manage the back up as required for payroll functions and performs other related duties or projects as assigned.
• Support the EMEA Payroll strategy of Operational Excellence and Continuous process Improvement

The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience of payroll processing -especially within international payroll.
• English Speaker mandatory, French will be highly appreciated.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Excellent analytical and operational skills, with attention for accuracy.
• International company.
• Highly self-motivated and directed with effective organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and execute multiple countries operations.
• Flexible, results-oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environment.
