Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Officer to manage our payroll processes accurately and efficiently. You will ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and provide excellent support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll for all employees on a regular schedule.
Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
Calculate wages, overtime, taxes, and deductions.
Handle payroll taxes and submit reports to government agencies.
Address employee questions regarding payroll.
Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation matters.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of payroll processing experience.
Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
Skills
Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll applications.
Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
Nice to Haves
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
Knowledge of HRIS systems.
