Payroll Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Payroll Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location. Duties: Manage risk and compliance for payroll accounting and overall global payroll process. Provide overall governance of the end-to-end process for payroll and taxes ensuring transactions are processed and accurately reflected in the General Ledger. Adhere to US banking regulations, including Reg W. Contribute towards weekly reports. Act as global owner of the wage codes process that entails creation, maintenance, updates and reconciliation for countries where payroll processes are executed. Ensure accurate inventory is available globally. Point of contact to engage internal or external audit, finance, legal and human resources risk and control requirements as related to wage type governance. Lead automation initiatives and projects as related to wage code maintenance processes globally. Owner of the global mapping maintenance between 95 country payrolls and general ledger and payroll systems used by various countries. Support global payroll services on both standardization and automation of processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Operations Accounting Analyst, Operations Support Analyst or related position working with payroll systems for a global bank. 5 years of experience must include: System configuration for taxation and payroll accounting; General ledger system; Project management; Payroll end-to-end operations including payroll, payroll accounting and payroll tax.
