Description:
This job is a member of the Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division. Responsible for gathering business requirements, testing, implementation and documentation of payroll and business processes and related interfaces impacting the payroll systems and the general ledger.
Year long contract position with the potential to convert. No H1B candidates. 40% on-site.Will be heavily using SAP (HEC) application. Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience 3-5 years Payroll, Finance, or Accounting Experience Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks Experience with SAP a plus Surrounding team/key projects Pilot Contract Flight related initiatives CA sick- flight Hybrid role 3 days remote, 2 days onsite. 3-5 yrs of payroll experience. SAP payroll highly preferred. Attention to detail is a must. Good background in regression testing, implementation experience, and/or UAT testing is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activities
Analyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts and test results
Assists with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systems
Represents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
Assists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of auditing team
Some travel required, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training, including payroll and payroll processes
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years Payroll, Finance or Accounting experience
Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling
Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
Experience with SAP a plus
