The Payment Processing Representative at Exeter Finance LLC is responsible for the daily decision-making and processing of customer and third-party checks. This role ensures that all payments are managed accurately and timely, while collaborating with various departments to uphold company policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Ā Execute payment processing tasks according to policy and procedures.

Ā Manage daily workload and assignments within service level objectives.

Ā Assist peers with assignment completion as needed.

Ā Maintain high accuracy and completeness in tasks performed.

Ā Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Ā Identify process improvements and communicate solutions with leadership.

Ā Assist leadership in special projects.

Ā Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Ā High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Ā 2-3 years of work-related experience, preferably in consumer auto finance industry.
,
Ā Experience with account maintenance functions strongly preferred.
,
Ā 2 years of administrative accounting experience preferred.
,
Ā Familiarity with indirect loan documentation preferred.
,
Ā Working knowledge of automobile finance, collections, and loan services preferred.
,
Ā Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; database skills preferred.
,
Ā Proficiency in SHAW Collections and SHAW Retail preferred.
,
Ā Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
,
Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
,
Ā Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Ā High attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
Ā Experience in consumer auto finance industry preferred.

Ā Familiarity with indirect loan documentation, i.e. contracts, ancillary products, certificates, etc. preferred.
