The Payment Innovation Director II at Elevance Health is responsible for researching, designing, and developing innovative payment solutions for healthcare providers. Ā Performs complex market and competitive analysis, engaging provider technical and clinical teams and cross-functional teams.

Ā Collects business requirements.

Ā Creates Value Based Payment concepts.

Ā Writes High Level Business Requirements documents.

Ā Creates business case and ROI analysis.

Ā Initiates business solution development and guides solution launch activities.

Ā Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.

Ā Translates complex information and coordinates communication of key decisions and accomplishments.

Ā Leads special projects/initiatives.
,
Ā Represents the company in external meetings and influences the payer and healthcare industry.
Requirements
Ā BA/BS in business or related field.
,
Ā Minimum of 12 years of experience in healthcare systems.
,
Ā 8 years of experience in a strategy role.
Nice-to-haves
Ā MBA, MPH, or other related master's degree preferred.

Ā Previous experience designing, managing, or implementing alternative payment models (APMs) and value-based care programs strongly preferred.

Ā Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects; detail-oriented and solution-focused.

Ā Highly efficient in written and verbal communication; ability to engage, influence, and drive consensus.
