Pay-Per-Click Specialist-1099 Contractor No Agencies

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Specialist to join our team as a 1099 contractor. This role is ideal for experienced digital marketing professionals with a strong background in performance marketing, digital ads, client services and campaign optimization. The PPC Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms to drive targeted traffic, increase conversions, and maximize ROI. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work independently on diverse projects within the digital marketing landscape. Responsibilities • Execute and maintain PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and Local Service Ads. • Conduct regular client calls to review performance, discuss strategy, and outline optimization opportunities using dashboarding tools. • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to guide strategy • Implement and manage conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager, coordinating with developers to ensure accurate event setup and data flow into Google Ads and GA4. • Monitor KPIs and deliver reports with actionable recommendations. • Set up and structure Google Ad campaigns (naming conventions, ad groups, search themes, extensions, etc.). • A/B test ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies. • Collaborate remotely with the marketing team to align PPC tactics with broader goals. Requirements • Proven experience in performance marketing with a focus on PPC campaign management across Google Ads and other platforms. • Proven experience in PPC management (Google Ads required; other platforms advantageous). Experience running Search, Display, and Video campaigns. • Familiarity with Tag Manager, GA4, and Google Ads. • Competence in analyzing campaign data and extracting actionable insights for client partners. • Familiarity with digital marketing principles. • Strong communication skills and the capability to operate independently. • Experience in home improvement, construction, or related industries is a plus.
