As a Patient Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients during their healthcare journey. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to patient care and support, all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals, including assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
• Assist with patient mobility, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment, while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing linens, restocking supplies, and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
• Collect and label specimens for laboratory testing, following established protocols and procedures.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital policies and regulations.
• Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients and their families, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification as a nursing assistant or patient care technician preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic and challenging environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
