● Investigate and conduct root cause analyses of reported medication errors
● Clinically review new medication error risks and perform risk assessments for prioritization of underlying root causes
● Serve as a clinical patient safety resource for the Patient Safety team and partner stakeholders
● Lead medication error follow-up discussions and report on patient safety metrics
● Communicate critical patient safety concerns with partner stakeholders and organizational leadership
● Develop, update, and communicate Patient Safety policies
● Service as a clinical resource to develop patient safety requirements for new product development
● Partner with stakeholders to drive safety through the implementation of error identification and reduction strategies
● Coordinate and facilitate Patient Safety improvement projects● Perform other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS● Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
● Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in good standing
● 3+ years experience in pharmacyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years experience in pharmacy
● 2+ years of Amazon Pharmacy experience
● Proficient with Amazon Pharmacy provided tools and platforms and understanding of Amazon
Pharmacy operations and workflow
● People leadership and management experience
● Experience with medication error root cause analysis processes and procedures
● Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team to affect change company-wide
● Superior written and verbal communication skills
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

The base pay for this position ranges from $102,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $170,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
