What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
- Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals
- Secure upfront payment from patients and assist them in finding financial assistance when needed
- Support activities to ensure clean claims and manage denial follow-up
- Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years of experience in a related field
- Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals and priorities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous healthcare or medical billing experience is preferred
