This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8 am – 5 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Employees are required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.

We offer on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be 8:00am - 5:00pm PST, Monday to Friday.

If you are within commutable distance to the office at 9 Technology Drive Irvine, CA 92618. you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Make Outbound calls, 80-100 per day to patients to schedule their annual wellness visits.
• Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems
• Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues and/or partner with others to resolve escalated issues
• Responsible for 8-10 schedules to fill and monitor on a daily basis
• Document calls with outcomes daily
• Make reminder calls on rotating basis
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years old OR older
• 6+ months experience using Microsoft Excel
• 6+ months Customer Service Experience using phones and computers as the primary job tools
• Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior health care experience ideally with the Senior population
• Bilingual fluency in English, Spanish or Vietnamese

• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

• Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner
• Skilled in problem solving to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
