Job Summary We're looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As a key member of our Sleep Central (After Hours Call Center) team, you'll be responsible for contacting patients regarding equipment delivery, taking patient orders, verifying patient information, and placing orders in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Accurately transcribe patient profiles over the telephone, including data entry of information and possible outbound calling Obtain medically necessary documentation and process patient orders through our online pharmacy system Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients, troubleshooting problems based on patient input Verify orders are complete and perform other duties as assigned Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and loyalty Qualifications & Requirements Essential Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience in the medical field and administrative record management Strong customer service background, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and organization Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position) Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment Familiarity with medical terminology and home medical equipment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Skills & Competencies Effective communication in English, both oral and written Helpful, knowledgeable, and polite, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to interpret a variety of communications, including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations What We Offer Competitive Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $16, plus quarterly bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan and employee discount program Generous paid time off and paid holidays Life insurance and disability coverage Employee recognition program and bonus and incentive opportunities Mileage reimbursement and telephone reimbursement (when applicable for the position) Career Growth & Development At Rotech Healthcare Inc., we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
