What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

Authorization Processing: Obtain and process authorizations for patient reorders, ensuring seamless delivery of essential medical supplies to those who need them most.
Patient Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving patient concerns. You'll handle issues through phone communications, document processing, and medical record validation with accuracy and empathy.
Documentation Excellence: Ensure patients have all required medical documentation to permit proper billing of services. Your attention to detail will directly impact patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Patient Retention & Growth: Maximize our patient base through effective retention efforts and thoughtful cross-selling via phone. You'll build lasting relationships that encourage patients to trust arenaflex for their ongoing needs.
Multi-Stakeholder Communication: Handle both inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and referral sources. This includes troubleshooting concerns, adding services, verifying insurance coverage, and explaining benefits in clear, understandable terms.
Quality Assurance: Audit configuration of medical supplies based on supporting documentation, formulary requirements, and manufacturer capabilities to ensure accuracy in every shipment.
Compliance & Confidentiality: Maintain comprehensive understanding of medical documentation requirements, insurance policies, and company procedures while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality given your access to sensitive patient information.
Departmental Collaboration: Provide cross-functional support to all business units, maintaining up-to-date documentation and insurance information for accurate processing and billing.
Reliable Attendance: Maintain regular, predictable, and consistent attendance while demonstrating flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the department.


What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Proven customer service experience (preferably in a call center or healthcare setting)
Strong computer literacy with excellent keyboarding skills and the ability to accurately key data while maintaining active listening
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities and time management
