What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Answer and make phone calls to patients, insurance companies, and hospital departments
• Update and document financial data to ensure accurate reimbursement
• Participate in accounts receivable clean-up projects and other assigned tasks
• Provide training to new or existing staff as directed by leadership
• Work towards reducing call and wait times to improve customer satisfaction

What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• 1-2 years previous customer service experience
• General accounting and bookkeeping skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Experience with systems or applications such as Epic or SSI
• Familiarity with medical billing and medical terminology
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and initiative in a team environment
