Patient Account Rep - Remote

Location: Remote GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Identify delinquent accounts, aging periods, and payment sources. Perform collection actions, including contacting patients via telephone and resubmitting claims to appropriate payers. Evaluate patient financial status and establish payment plans as needed. Predictable and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. Maintain current knowledge of third-party payer regulations and requirements. Communicate changes in regulations or processes to management and team members. Ensure accurate and organized documentation of account activity. Meet assigned cash collection and productivity goals. EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and collections or comparable education in a related field. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Bilingual skills are a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional, courteous, and solution-oriented approach to patient interactions.
