CVS Health is seeking an experienced leader to join our growing technology organization as the Vice President of Public Cloud, reporting to the Vice President of Distributed Platforms and Cloud Engineering. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading a team of 185 talented engineers across Cloud disciplines. You will be instrumental in defining the technical vision and roadmap for these areas, ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives that drive business value and support CVS Health's strategic goals. You will make an impact by: Provide strategic leadership and direction for Cloud engineering, finance, and compliance teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence Develop and implement a comprehensive technical vision and roadmap for Cloud that aligns with the overall business strategy of CVS Health Oversee the delivery of critical Cloud engineering projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards Attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend their adoption to improve efficiency, agility, and cost-effectiveness Ensure adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance within your areas of responsibility Requirements: Minimum of 20 years of experience in leading large engineering teams within a fast-paced, enterprise environment Proven track record of success in defining and executing technical vision and roadmaps for Cloud, Enterprise Compute & Storage, Database, and Middleware technologies In-depth understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle OCI) is highly preferred Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree a plus) We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on: 01/27/2025 Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
